Meet Emily

Emily Haack transforms high-pressure moments into experiences of joy and calm assurance.

Two Decades Behind the Scenes

For nearly twenty years, Emily has worked in the demanding world of live performance—where there are no retakes, no second chances, and no room for wardrobe failures.

She spent a decade as Head of Wardrobe for large-scale touring productions including Disney on Ice, Disney Live!, and Marvel Universe Live!, managing thousands of intricate costumes across five continents. She's also toured with celebrated artists like Mary J. Blige and Sara Bareilles, ensuring flawless presentation for every performance.

Emily has dressed Olympians and Tony-, Emmy-, and Grammy-winning performers for high-stakes live and televised appearances. She's worked alongside Oscar- and Tony-winning designers and collaborated with the same costume houses that build for Broadway's most celebrated productions.

She notes with a smile,

“Cinderella’s fairy godmother may get the credit, but I executed the quick change.”

Calm Under Pressure

Emily's approach is rooted in anticipation. She solves problems before they become crises, handles emergencies with grace, and stays composed when it matters most. From delicate fit adjustments to last-minute repairs to securing a veil or adding emergency hairpins, she brings technical precision and a reassuring presence to every event.

Her expertise is grounded in a degree in Theatrical Costuming from Northwestern University and professional cosmetology training through Disney, where she styled hair for performance including designing Rapunzel's iconic hairstyle for the unique demands of an ice show. Years of hands-on experience in fast-paced, unforgiving environments taught her that perfection isn't optional, it's expected.

A Body-Positive Advocate

At the heart of Emily's work is a belief that confidence is everything. She creates a supportive, respectful environment where every client feels comfortable, cared for, and beautifully at ease. When you feel your best, you're free to be fully present for the moments that matter.

Life in Lincoln

When she's not supporting clients through The Finishing Stitch Concierge, Emily works as a community outreach specialist for TeamMates Mentoring of Lincoln, recruiting mentors for local youth. She continues to perform with Lincoln theater productions and remains deeply connected to the world that shaped her career.

Emily met her husband (also a stagehand) while on tour, a real-life fairy tale that speaks to the joy and connection she brings into every space. She lives in Lincoln with her husband and their two wonderful children.
